Christine Y. Zhao

Ms. Christine Zhao brings extensive experience as a C-suite executive and board member, having scaled growth companies and guided public listings for billion-dollar valuations. She has served on audit, governance, and compensation committees for various organizations, including Nasdaq-listed biotechs, SPACs, and fintech SaaS companies. Formerly the Managing Director at Bank of America and CFO of JPM Asia for Treasury Services, Christine’s expertise is vital in shaping PayX’s financial and investment strategies.
Ms. Christine Zhao has been a seasoned C-Suite executive and independent Board member/committee chairs for public and private companies across Financial Services, Fintech and other high growth, high social impact industries. In the last several years she has taken two companies public in the U.S. for over billions in valuation. Most recently she served as CFO of AlTi Global, a global wealth management and alternative asset management company listed on Nasdaq with $67B assets under management across 11 countries. She has also served as an audit, governance or compensation committee member or chair for several companies, including a Nasdaq listed biotech company, three SPACs across healthcare, media and property tech sectors, and a private fintech SaaS company. Prior to this, she was a Managing Director in Bank of America Merrill Lynch and an Executive Director in JPMorgan, where she held senior positions in headquarters and global banking and markets, including as regional CFO/COO in transaction banking and corporate banking units. Earlier in her career she worked for other Fortune 100 companies including American Express, Goldman Sachs and FedEx. She has worked and managed teams in four continents.
Ms. Zhao is a recipient of the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business award in 2023 by Asian American Business Development Center. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Economics with distinction from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. She’s a Board member for several non-profits, including Volunteer of America – Greater New York, The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) and Asian Pacific American Advocates (OCA) Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter. Ms. Zhao’s expertise is vital in shaping PayX’s financial and investment strategies.

As the co-founder of Reonomy, a commercial real estate data analytics platform that secured $125M in VC funding, Harlan helped redefine the industry. Brett Adams is a seasoned fintech leader and strategic advisor with over 20 years of experience driving innovation and delivering impactful business outcomes in global banking and payments. With a career spanning corporate, consulting, and start-up environments, Brett has excelled in cross-functional leadership roles across finance, sales, consulting, and product technology for both U.S. and international business operations.
Brett’s diverse experience includes corporate leadership at MasterCard, where he spearheaded their expansion into global payment processing, doubled market share in emerging prepaid product verticals, and led multi-million-dollar account growth for its largest accounts. In consulting roles at Marakon and Accenture, he advised Fortune 100 companies and financial institutions, developing strategies to modernize technology stacks, enhance payment systems, and drive competitive advantage. In the start-up arena, Brett has led product strategies and execution for companies like Openpay (BNPL), Markaaz (SMB Data), and CTFSI, where he directed the launch of AI-powered platforms and market-entry strategies for innovative payment and data solutions.

Renowned for his ability to connect complex business challenges to practical solutions, Brett has proven expertise in product strategy, regulatory leadership, and scaling operations in highly regulated markets. His global perspective, with experience working across 5 continents, enables him to navigate diverse market dynamics and deliver results.

Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Stanford University, a Master of Science in International Economic History from the London School of Economics, and an MBA in Strategy and Economics from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He has also completed advanced certifications from MIT and Oxford in AI and blockchain strategy.
